About Me
Hi, my name is Laura Corbier and I am an artist and Jewelry maker. I live in Wiarton Ontario, Canada overlooking Georgian Bay, enjoying the beauty of the local landscape. I graduated from the fine art program at Georgian College in Owen Sound in 1992. I graduated with honors and was the first aboriginal person to graduate from this program at the Owen Sound Campus. My work met early acclaim with two of my pieces winning the coveted “People’s Choice Award” in two separate Juried shows, The Tom Thompson Memorial Art Gallery and the Chi-Cheemaun Juried show.
