So what is this place all about? At a first glance it might be hard to tell, but I invite you to explore.
This is a cyber bridge of sorts. Its a place where many aspects of my creativity, my spirit and my life interconnect. My Name is Laura Corbier and I am a Native Aboriginal Painter, I create Jewelry, I write a fun blog in the voice of my Muse Trinket and her sisters Gracie and Puds at bunspace.com. Maybe you tell by now; I think way too much and try to put a part of myself in everything I do.

My Art and my Jewelry making come from a more serious part of myself and since Trinket’s decline a year ago I had begun to explore that more playful part of my nature. The result was Tinkie Couture, Tinkie Bling and Tinkie’s Tasties. If you can guess; yes I started making hats, tiaras, and accessories for rabbit Divas and homemade bunny cookies. It was do this or go insane from the stress while caring for Trinket. I really needed something fun and creative in my life while everything else was depressing and full of fear.
Since her death this summer I have embarked on a journey of telling her story and all the spiritual and life lessons that come to me during the intense two years of caring for a chronically ill bunny. This site was established as a place where I could explore and communicate those lessons I learned without any confines. So Trinket pretty much took over my life for the last two years after closing my Gallery shop in Owen Sound, and therefore I became wrapped up in our journey together so Tinkie’s was more of a place for her rather than for me. But since her death its time for me to get back to what I do~ Creating. So its my hope to still keep her close as my Muse and inspiration while I continue on my journey alone.

Gracie Modeling my Bridal Creation from Tinkie Couture
Jewelry is created with Natural gemstones, fresh water pearls, crystals and Sterling Silver Accents. I am just about to embark on an exiting adventure. I am going to teaching myself Metal Clay jewelery making, I will be sure to post blogs showing my progress. My goal is to make for myself a lovely little dwarf bunny memorial urn to put some Trinket’s ashes in. So that is what I want, so I had better get crackin!! For now my work is on my e-shop at www.aloradesigns.etsy.com I am hoping to start doing shows in the following year. I wasn’t able to do anything as caring for Trinket was a 24 hour a day responsibility.
My Artexpresses a whole other part of myself. I tend to work big, like 3 by 4 feet big and not everyone has a lot of room to give a home to such bold and in your face work as mine. I have recently invested in a really good wide body printer so now I have done prints of all my original paintings. They can be found at my ESTY site along with Artist Note cards. Some of my originals that are for sale can still be found at Gallery Deboer in Owen Sound.
